ELMSFORD, N.Y. (March 10, 2026) — As golf season approaches, the MGA has released its annual slate of spring Handicapping and Rules Seminars. The seminars are hosted by Met Area clubs each year and serve as a good refresher as the season gets underway, providing MGA members with an overview of both the World Handicap System and the Rules of Golf.

Saturday, March 28 – The Apawamis Club, Rye, N.Y.
Saturday, April 4 – Whitney Farms Golf Course, Monroe, Conn. (joint session with CSGA)
Saturday, April 11 – Cherry Valley Club, Garden City, N.Y.
Saturday, April 18 – Montclair Golf Club, West Orange, N.J. (joint session with NJ Golf)
This year’s schedule once again includes collaborative presentations with fellow Allied Golf Associations, the Connecticut State Golf Association and New Jersey Golf. All seminars run from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m., with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.
